Photos From Jonathan's Goodbye Party

On November 7, 2008, Gift of Life International had the opportunity to host a goodbye party for Jonathan, the 10,000th child that our organization has had the privilege of helping. After his successful surgery, Jonathan was scheduled to return home.

The bittersweet event reminded us that even as we meet and enjoy the company of these wonderful children, they must quickly return to their homes around the world following their surgeries. However, we all recognize our life-saving mission at Gift of Life, and we understand that our efforts become the actions to save these children.

Jonathan's farewell party was sponsored by the GOL D 7230 program at Elmsford Raceway. Fun was had by all, as the pictures show.
