Chair of GOL Rotary Georgene Mongarella Honored in White Plains

Georgene Mongarella, a Rotarian for 17 years and past president of the White Plains chapter, has been named the recipient of the Rotary’s Paul Harris Award, the organization’s highest honor.

Mongarella served as chairman of the Rotary’s “Gift of Life” program, which arranges for foreign children with heart problems and their mothers to be brought to the U.S. for treatment. Under her leadership the number of people attending the annual fund raising event doubled, as did the amount of money raised. Additional details can be found here:
